Who is Blackboard Sync For

Blackboard Sync is intended for students - it delivers course updates and information conveniently through the student's Facebook account or to their iPhone so that they can stay on top of their studies without having to go check their Blackboard account.

Blackboard Sync is available to all Facebook users that are also users at Blackboard client institutions or to owners of an iPhone or iPod Touch. Blackboard Sync requires an account on a Blackboard Learning System, Release 7.1 or higher, or Blackboard Learn, Release 9.0 or higher, server.

Blackboard Sync requires that all users be 13 years of age or older, and those users must be high school or college students.

Blackboard Sync may be used in any region where Facebook, iPhones, or iPod touches are available. Please note, though: the interface for the Blackboard Learn for the Facebook Platform and the Blackboard Learn for iPhone applications are currently only available in English.
