As you tag more and more bookmarks, you may want to clean up your tag cloud by deleting or renaming tags.

You can click on Settings and then Manage Tags to get to the Manage Tags page. From here you can:

  • Delete Tags by selecting the tag you want to remove from the drop-down list and clicking the Delete button. All instances of this tag will be removed from all of your bookmarks.

  • Rename Tags by selecting the tag you want rename from the "Old Tag" drop-down list, then entering a new tag in the "New tag(s)" input field below that. So if you selected psych from the "Old Tag" drop-down list and entered psychology in the "New Tag(s)" field, all instances of the psych in your bookmarks would be replaced with the psychology tag. Note: you can replace a single tag with more than one tag. So if you entered psychology psychiatry in the "New Tag(s)" field when replacing the old psych tag, then every instance of psych would now be tagged with both the psychology and the psychiatry tags. You can even use this to add a new tag to every bookmark already tagged with something. For example if you wanted to ad the tag learning to everything already tagged education, then you could select education from the "Old Tag" drop-down and enter education learning into the "New Tag(s)" field. Every bookmark that was tagged education will now be tagged with both the education and learning tags.
