The Scholar Bookmarklet or Scholar It! browser button triggers the Add a Bookmark form. See Add a Bookmark for a description of the fields on the form

Using the bookmarklet / browser button has the following advantages:

- it calls the Add a bookmark form, regardless of what page or type of internet resource you are currently working with

- it automatically pre-populates the Bookmark Name and the URL fields with the information from the internet resource you are currently working with

- if you select text on the page, just prior to clicking on the Scholar It button, it will bring this text into the Description field along with the Bookmark Name and URL

After you have edited the Description, added some Tagsand saved the bookmark, the Scholar Bookmarklet will return you to your internet page so you can carry working on it.
