Course Description This course is designed to be a broad survey of the history of communication from early civilization to the present. It focuses on the broad range of events, ideas, issues and inventions that have played critical roles in developing our understanding of human communication. The course also engages students in the analysis and evaluation of historical events that have been influenced by various innovations in communication. |
